About the fund

The John Barker Helmet Advocacy and Injury Prevention Fund was established in memory of John Barker, a native of Arkansas who died at the age of 20 from brain injuries suffered in a skateboarding accident. John’s family hopes you will join them in supporting the Fund to protect young people’s lives and health, and to spare other families the loss they have experienced.

The Barker family and the staffs of ACH Foundation and Arkansas Children’s Hospital deeply appreciate your generosity.

“Helmets are cool!”

-John Barker
